I received the signed contract from a new client, and as soon as he handed me the copy, he said he had an event in 10 days. He wanted to send out a notice using MailChimp, plus social media and the website ASAP.
Oh, a scramble! Looking at my schedule, I could move a couple things around and get everything done within 48 hours.
I received the signed contract on a Wednesday afternoon. On Thursday afternoon, I had a quick client meeting to get all the details and confirm a couple of things.
I wrote up the copy for the website page, social platforms, and MailChimp. Once the client approved the copy, I created the MailChimp email and sent that for approval.
Everything on my end was ready to go by 2:00 PM Friday afternoon — except for the website. If we were responsible for managing it, the updates would have been done by Friday afternoon as well.
We don’t work this way once in a while. We work this way all the time. We often hear from clients, after we complete a task, “WOW! That was fast!”
That’s what makes us different.
Our secret? We don’t have one. We just get things done.
