Due to hard water, my eight-year old shower head was clogged and no longer performing efficiently. It also couldn’t be taken apart and cleaned, which meant I needed to purchase a new one.

After a quick trip to the big box store to confirm all the shower heads on display weren’t made in the USA, I found High Sierra Showerheads© online.

Made in the U.S. of solid, all metal parts, these shower heads are guaranteed to not clog – even if you have hard water! They also feature the patented Full Coverage Spray Technology and use 40% less water.

Sold.

When I purchased my Classic Fixed Shower Head (pictured above) in 2018, the company was very small, and all parts were sourced domestically. I believe due to the success of the product, the company has grown. The website now reads parts are domestic and imported, but manufacturing is still in the US; construction is still all metal.

David Malcolm, founder and designer, was awarded a patent for his innovative nozzle technology in 2007 and a second patent is pending for his shower head designs (according to the website).

I shower every day and even with my hard water issues, this shower head has not clogged. The Full Coverage Spray Technology is a fancy way of saying the spray pulsates and yes, it does feel like large rain drops. The fixture is well-made, the chrome still shines brightly, and it was also very easy to install. I like it and highly recommend it. Five stars.
