Each year I do the 50-mile Tour de Greenbelt — a ride for land conservation in MA. And each year I eagerly look through the photos to see if I’m pictured. This year, I FINALLY got my wish.
As you can see in the photo, my cycle shorts made it! 😂 🤣
I’m sure it’s because they’re made in the USA by Aero Tech Designs based in Pittsburgh, PA.
I’ve been buying my cycle clothing — shorts, jerseys, tights, socks — from Aero Tech since 2016 or so.
Their clothing is very well made and withstands the rigors of cycling (and sweat) and fits well. The first pairs of shorts I wore out after a couple of years (the padding loses its effectiveness due to constant wear) but the jerseys are still going strong.
The company manufactures many of its products at its sewing facility in Pittsburgh, but they also use other manufacturers in the United States. They do import a product when needed.

I’m not paid nor asked to write about products or the companies that make them. All links in this piece are FREE — meaning, they’re not sponsored or paid for. I buy products, use them, and if I like them, I tell everyone about them.
I do it because my mission is to keep manufacturing jobs stateside. This mission is my way of giving back. We like to think our “small” choices won’t make a difference. They do.
